iPhone 2.0 to be unveiled today

June 9, 2016

Apple CEO Steve Jobs is expected to unveil an updated version of the iPhone later today at the Apple Development Conference in San Francisco.

Much anticipated new features on the iPhone 2.0 include 3G connectivity, a GPS navigation system, and larger storage than the current 8GB and 16GB models.

Apple is also expected to allow users to download third party software if it has been endorsed by the company.

3G connectivity will allow iPhone users roaming connection to the internet at home broadband speeds.

iPhone 2.0 may also be cheaper than previous models as part of Apple’s effort to boost sales.

Following the success of the iPod, Apple is well aware that if a user has a positive experience with one of their products, they are far more likely to buy more Apple products.
